More Than 1,900 Bidders Participate in Ritchie Bros. North East, Md., Sale

More than 1,900 bidders participated online or in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on Dec.13.

Bidders came from 40-plus countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 85 percent of the equipment was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Panama, Peru, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased approximately36 percent of the equipment lots sold.

The auction featured more than 1,300 equipment items and trucks, including 45-plus hydraulic excavators, 25-plus wheel loaders, 25-plus crawler tractors, 25-plus truck tractors and more than 30 pick-up trucks.
