More than 2,300 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on Dec. 16.

Bidders came from 49 countries, including 48 U.S. states. Approximately 80 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Taiwan, Germany, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore. Online bidders purchased 49 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).
