More than 2,000 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sept. 29.

Bidders came from 42 countries, including 47 U.S. states. Approximately 86 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, including 13 percent purchased by international buyers from such countries as Thailand, Egypt and Australia. Online bidders purchased approximately 66 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

Equipment highlights in the auction included more than 30 loaders; more than 25 compactors; more than 25 skid steers; more than 25 excavators; more than 20 dozers; and more.
