Nasser Heavy Equipment Inc., based in Lawrenceville, Ga., recently opened the doors for business at its third metro Atlanta location.

This brand new facility was built on a 28-acre parcel of land with interstate frontage just off the Liberty Road/I-20 exit in Villa Rica, Ga.

The new branch is a full service location incorporating sales, service, parts and rentals for Hyundai, Sakai, Liebherr and Eager Beaver, as well as a vast selection of used equipment from other manufacturers. The facility provides plenty of space and includes a six-bay shop, parts stocking area, staff offices and extra space to accommodate for future growth and staff additions.

“We feel that Villa Rica is going to be the hot spot west of the Six Flags area and into the Alabama market,” said General Manager Paul Gibson. “We chose Villa Rica because a prime piece of property next to I-20 became available and we decided to move forward and open in that area for potential new business.”

The company expects to keep approximately 60 to 70 pieces of equipment out on rent for the first year, and to increase that number to more than 100 the next year.

“The area is a good outlet for us for Hyundai and Liebherr rentals, with a good potential to draw Alabama rental customers in as well,” Gibson said. “We’ve rented and sold to customers in the Alabama market from our Lawrenceville branch in the past, now we’ll be much closer to them and feel we can increase our business in that market.”

Heading up the responsibilities of managing the new location is Branch Manager Michael Jordan. Jordan has been in the heavy equipment industry for more than 10 years, previously with a national equipment rental company. Jordan has experience in starting up branches and feels very fortunate to be given this opportunity.

“This is an ideal situation for me. Nasser has given me the opportunity to put together a team and to create a ’family’ working environment where we all work closely and can see through the years to come the growth of this branch,” Jordan said. “It all comes down to relationships and loyalty to each other as co-workers and to our customers. Our job is real simple: Help meet our customers’ needs in a way that helps them to run their business more efficiently.”

Jordan further stated that running a new branch is much easier with the overwhelming support from Gibson and Owner Nasser, as well as great working relationship and full support from the manufacturers the company represents.

“With this environment, and the great staff we have in place, I truly look forward to coming to work each and every day,” Jordan said. CEG Staff
