For more than a century, Fabick Cat has had the privilege of serving customers and communities across our territory. The strength of our company today is rooted in the relationships we have built along the way, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in us.
We are sharing an important update about the future of Fabick Cat. Caterpillar has entered into an agreement to acquire Fabick Cat. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and routine closing conditions and is expected to close in approximately 30 days. Until closing, Fabick Cat will continue operating under its current ownership.
This decision comes at a time when Fabick Cat is a strong and successful dealership. Caterpillar and the Fabick family carefully evaluated options for the future of the business and determined this transition was the best path to support our customers while maintaining the strong service and local support you know today.
Upon closing, much of what you know and trust about Fabick Cat will remain:
• There are no plans to change the Fabick Cat name.
• Normal business operations will continue.
• You will continue working with the Fabick Cat teams and day-to-day contacts you know and trust. John Fabick Tractor Co. (DBA Fabick Cat) will remain the legal entity. All customer/vendor transactions will continue through John Fabick Tractor Co. (DBA Fabick Cat), just as they do today.
• Our commitment to providing exceptional Cat products, services and support will continue.
As we prepare for this next chapter, it's important to recognize and thank the Fabick family. For more than 100 years, generations of the family have dedicated themselves to building this company, supporting its people and serving our customers and communities. Their leadership and commitment created the foundation that has allowed Fabick Cat to become the strong organization it is today.
It is a legacy that deserves our gratitude and respect, and one we are proud to carry forward.
