PoliticsNJ.com, New Jersey’s Online Political Network, recently published its annual list of the state’s 100 most politically influential personalities. Listed as number 57 in the group was Bob Briant Jr. who serves as legislative director for the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA).

Bob Briant Jr. has been employed with UTCA since 1982. Both Briant and UTCA were the only New Jersey construction industry representatives named in the top 100 list. UTCA includes 1,200 member firms active in heavy, highway, utility and hazardous waste remediation construction throughout New Jersey.

The list was assembled to include those with the greatest clout and impact on politics and government in New Jersey and included political party leaders, labor unions, associations, business organizations and lobbyists.
