New York Concrete Corporation took delivery of a Liebherr LB 45.1 drilling rig with lattice extension attachment at Conexpo 2026. New York Concrete Corporation is one of New York City's largest excavation, foundation, drilling, concrete superstructure and sitework contractors.

Supporting both public and private sector clients, the company relies on Liebherr deep foundation machines to provide safe, efficient, high-quality drilling across the New York metropolitan area. Due to the complex environment of New York City, the rig's modular design, various drilling axes and quick set up make it ideal for various project requirements in an urban environment. In addition, this is the first LB 45.1 drilling rig in the United States market with a lattice extension, making it ideal for vertical reach projects in the city.

High Performer

Liebherr LB drilling rigs offer higher torque, a wider range of applications and useful assistance systems for improved operator comfort and increased safety in one elegant design, according to Liebherr. These machines are used worldwide and built to last with virtually no limits to their operational limits.

The Liebherr 45.1 drilling rig offers various methods including Kelly drilling, continuous flight auger drilling, partial and full displacement drilling or double rotary drilling can be applied. Despite its large machine class, the upper carriage is compact and designed for small working radii allowing for working at complex or tight job sites in the city.

In addition, the drilling rig provides easy transport, quick set up and a comfortable cab with an optimized field of vision and increased noise protection for the New York Concrete team of operators.
