The New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) recently presented awards to a select group of members in celebration of Associates Appreciation Month. The awards acknowledged the contributions of builders and associates, alike, and were presented to a distinguished group during the NJBA quarterly board of directors meeting held in Trenton, N.J.
NJBA Associate Vice President Kelly Zuccarelli kicked-off the awards ceremony saying, “NJBA is fortunate to have such diverse talents among its associate members. It is our ongoing mission to facilitate builder/associate business partnerships and relationships.”
Introducing the Associate Appreciation Award, Zuccarelli continued, “Each year, the associates committee recognizes one builder for extraordinary support of our associate members. All of this year’s nominees were exceptionally qualified and deserving of merit.”
The prestigious 2008 Associate Appreciation Award was presented to John D’Anastasio of D’Anastasio Corporation for being the builder member who best exemplifies the motto: Its good business to do business with a member.
D’Anastasio received the award in recognition for his commitment and support of NJBA, and for utilizing Associate members as part of his business model.
Assemblyman Lou Greenwald was on hand to present the award to D’Anastasio.
“Our members are the backbone of the association, our communities and our economy. Their contributions to the economic fortitude of New Jersey are evident in their commitment to providing a safe and affordable place to call ’home’,” said NJBA President Stephen A. Patron.
