Norris Sales Company Inc. recently announced a number of promotions and new hires in both its Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and Sicklerville, N.J., locations.

At the Plymouth Meeting location a number of employees have moved up to new positions.

John “L.J.” Hicks has been in the industry since 1996. He started at Norris Sales as a yard mechanic in July 2000 and quickly moved on to work as a field mechanic. His 12 years of experience in the construction industry will make him an asset in his new position as a rental/sales agent, according to the company.

Nate Cagliola began his career with Norris Sales in May 2002. For three years he worked as a yard superintendent and road mechanic. In January 2005 Cagliola was promoted to small engine rental and repairs. During this time he developed vast knowledge in the day-to-day operations of the company and was recently promoted to rental/sales agent.

Ritchie McAuliffe has been with Norris Sales for about three years. He started in the warehouse in Sicklerville, N.J., and spent a year working the counter as a rental/sales agent in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He has recently been promoted to outside sales representative and will cover Chester and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania.

Norris Sales’ Plymouth Meeting location has two new employees on staff as well.

Randy Kobzina has worked in the rental, sales and leasing business for eight years. He was recently hired as an outside sales representative covering central Bucks County and portions of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

“Norris Sales gives me the opportunity to work for a family owned business that works hard to satisfy the customer’s needs. With the strong support staff Norris Sales provides, I can focus on servicing the needs of my accounts,” Kobzina said.

Brian Noll recently joined the Norris Sales team as a marketing and technology associate. Previously serving as an intern in the construction industry, he has quickly adapted to his new position.

“It’s a pleasure coming to work when you have such wonderful co-workers and quality products that you believe in. As I continue to grow in my profession, I look forward to helping Norris Sales stay ahead of the competition by developing marketing strategies and keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology,” Noll said.

Two new employees have joined the staff at Norris Sales’ Sicklerville, N.J., location .

Jim Garofalo joined the Norris Sales team in March 2008. With more than 10 years of experience in the rental industry, Garofalo served as operations manager with a national rental chain, and rental/service manager for an industrial hardware operation. His position with Norris Sales as assistant rental manager will consist of working closely with the outside salesmen and branch manager to increase revenues.

Ben Polesir recently joined the company as an outside sales representative covering New Jersey and portions of Philadelphia.

“I have been in the rental and equipment sales industry for 15 years. Most of my experience has been with national publicly owned rental companies. It is an absolute pleasure to join the Norris Sales team where customer service comes first, not the stock price,” Polesir said

President of Norris Sales Don Zajick, said, “ The addition of these quality people along with our experienced staff will allow us to continue to fulfill our customers’ needs and expectations, as a leader in our industry — our employees will always be, our most important asset.”

The company noted that it was particularly pleased to be experiencing this growth when the economic climate would predict otherwise.
