With a 42,500 sq. ft. building expansion nearing completion in May, AMI will significantly increase its production capacity to serve the North American market with attachments for heavy construction equipment. AMI Attachments recently introduced the new KickBox Ejector Bucket attachment for wheel loaders. Ideal for grain handling, recycling and manure, the KickBox is a top performer for moving high volumes of material quickly and safely.

AMI Attachments Inc. has reached a new milestone in its 17-year history of manufacturing attachments for the heavy equipment industry.

With a 42,500 sq. ft. building expansion nearing completion in May, AMI will significantly increase its production capacity to serve the North American market with attachments for heavy construction equipment.

"We're very excited for this new phase of AMI's recent growth," said AMI Attachments Inc. President Steve Frey. "Our new facility expansion will allow us to expand our manufacturing capabilities and deliver attachments to our dealers and customers with faster lead times."

The current 57,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and head office, located west of Toronto, in Ontario, was built in 2016.

"As we continued to see growth in both the U.S. and Canada, we had a higher need for more production capacity," said Frey. "As a leading manufacturer in North America, we are always looking for new products to offer to our customer base. We also wanted to have increased capacity to branch out into other industry applications. Developing attachments for mining, for example, is an exciting part of what we're looking ahead to."

With a strong focus on building innovative products, AMI helps customers increase their productivity and remain competitive across a variety of applications and industries. AMI offers attachments for excavators, loader backhoes, wheel loaders and skid steers; as well as Pitbull dozer blades and AMI snow blades.

Their excavator attachments include buckets, grapples, couplers, thumbs, pulverizers, lift attachments, rakes, forks, chuck blades, rippers and extendible sticks. Popular branded products include the Graptor bucket, the Graptor rake, the Extractor demolition and sorting grapple, the Kraken concrete pulverizer, and the 4-in-1 Jawbone for excavators, as well as the KickBox ejector bucket for wheel loaders.

In addition to its facility expansion, AMI recently received an important designation from SSAB, a leading producer on the global market for Advanced High-Strength Steels (AHSS) and Quenched & Tempered Steels (Q&T).

Recognized as the first dual member worldwide for certification in both Hardox In My Body and My Inner Strenx programs, AMI Attachments Inc. continues to set the standard for excellence in their design and manufacturing processes, according to the company.

"Our dual certification through SSAB is a landmark for AMI Attachments on a global level," said Frey. "It's a strict accreditation process, but it means that we can provide our customers with premium bucket attachments made from genuine wear-resistant steel and high-performance structural steel. These materials set the standard globally for being harder, tougher and lighter."

As a certified member of these programs, AMI Attachments Inc. has achieved the distinction of providing customers with high quality attachment products manufactured from genuine wear-resistant steel that weigh less, withstand abrasion, perform better and last longer.
