Hedco Equipment Company recently announced that it has become authorized dealer for Gilcrest for customers in New York City, Long Island and southern Westchester county.

“We’re very excited about adding the Gilcrest line to our product offerings,” said Martin Hausman, president of Hedco. “Our Case product line, such as skid steers and tractor loader backhoes, have always put us in a great position with contractors. Now because of Gilcrest, we can also fill the needs of those contractors who also do paving work. This is just the perfect expansion for Hedco.”

These are some of the Gilcrest products that Hedco will now be offering:

Gilcrest 813RT Paver

The machine has all the features of a mainline paver, such as maneuverability speed and dependability. The Pro-Paver 813RT is the standard for mid-sized pavers, becoming the workhorse for many contractors — large and small — who require versatility.

Gilcrest 814MPC Paver

The 814 is noted for its dual-weather, chemical resistant touch pad microprocessor controls. Additionally, the new remote handheld screen controls offer the operation of major screen functions from virtually anywhere on or off the paver. The 814 has a paving width of up to 14 ft. (4.3 m) and boasts a 76-hp (56.7 kW) diesel engine. An additional option includes the Pro-Paver ditch plates, which increases versatility by making it possible to pave from 6 ft. to 16 ft. (1.8 to 4.9 m).

Hydraulic Truck Hitches

These engage the rear wheels of a truck, which can eliminate material spills caused by the separation between the truck and the paver.

Hedco Equipment serves its customers from two locations: in the Bronx at 1144 Zerega Ave. and on Long Island at 262 McCormick Dr. in Bohemia, NY.
