Rudolph/Libbe Inc., a Walbridge, Ohio-based general contractor, has received a 2007 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics from the Better Business Bureau Serving Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan Inc.
More than 100 companies were nominated this year for the 2007 Torch Award. Rudolph/Libbe was one of this year’s four winners, whose business practices and activities exemplify the BBB’s mission of promoting the highest standards of business ethics and conduct.
“This award symbolizes what matters most to Rudolph/Libbe — the trust and confidence of our customers,” said Rudolph/Libbe President Tim Alter. “Rudolph/Libbe associates earn that confidence every day with their hard work, innovation and commitment to exceptional customer service — so this award truly belongs to them.”
Nominees must have been in business at least three years and located in the Bureau’s 18-county service area. An independent panel of volunteer community leaders selected the 2007 award winners.
The Rudolph/Libbe Companies is among the nation’s largest contractors, and employs nearly 1,500 construction trades associates through offices in Lima, Toledo and Walbridge, Ohio, and Canton, Mich.
