Tom Alfano, general line sales manager of Foley Inc., Caterpillar dealer in North Jersey, Staten Island, and Bermuda, has announced that Pat Togno has accepted the position of general line sales consultant covering Union and Hudson counties.

Togno has 15 years of machinery sales experience. In 1986, he began his career as a sales representative with an electronics company, where he was responsible for selling products to end user manufacturers and exporters.

In 1990, he took a job as a construction machinery sales representative, selling large equipment for a major equipment dealer. He held accounts with both private companies and governmental agencies. Togno achieved salesman of the year honors in 2000.

“We are very pleased to have Pat come aboard. Whenever we hire a seasoned professional, we learn something new about out industry, and how to better serve our customer base. Pat’s 15 years of industry experience and good reputation will certainly serve him well in this new position. We look forward to him being an instrumental part of our quest to provide value to our customers,” said Jeff Merle, general manager, Machine Sales.

In his new position, Togno will utilize his extensive knowledge of large and small equipment and his vast experience working with contractors to implement custom solutions in his territory.
