Philly Co. Buys Its First Sennebogen Material Handling Machine

S. D. Richman & Sons Inc., of Philadelphia, recently purchased its first Sennebogen material handling machine, from Edelen & Boyer Co., of Comar, PA, for its scrap iron business.

Sennebogen is a 50-year-old German manufacturer of material handling equipment, cranes and hydraulic excavators.

The material handling machine that S.D. Richman & Sons purchased is an 835 R-HD, which has the following specifications:

• Weight: 50 ton (45 t)

• Reach: 61.7 ft. (18.8 m)

• Maximum Lifting Capacity: 18 ton (16.2 t)

• Power: 33.7 hp (25 kW) generator set, and

• Cab: hydraulically elevating.
