The silent auction included a large number of prizes ranging from a fishing trip with Dirty Jim Bonifice to a trip to the NHRA time trials provided by NAPA. The largest group of participants ever gather for the shotgun start. Carl Sherman, rental manager of Pine Bush Equipment, briefs the attendees on the do’s and don’ts of this year’s tournament. With quite possibly the highest net score of the event (L-R) are Dan Carson of ESCO; Tim Waine of Geith; Tom Pileggi of Pileggi Contracting; and Kent Hogeboom of Construction Equipment Guide. Making their selections for the Chinese Auction are Kevin Downes of Downes Tree Service and Tammy Hufcut of Pine Bush Equipment. Jason Iahn (C) of Lighthouse Solar celebrates winning the closest to the pin contest along with Erica Miller (L), also of Lighthouse Solar, and Holly Bodnar of Pine Bush Equipment. Enjoying the magnificent weather and raising money to fight cancer (L-R) are Mark Potempa of Ground Control Excavating; Rich Majewski of Allied Excavation; Mike Chason of Pine Bush Equipment; and Brock Majewski of Allied Excavation.

On May 9, 2015, Pine Bush Equipment held its annual Relay for Life golf tournament at the town of Wallkill Golf Club. Each year Pine Bush works with its vendors, customers and community friends to put together this huge charitable golf event. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

In more than 5,200 communities across 20 countries Relay for Life events comprise the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Each Relay for Life event is special to its own community, but its true power lies in the combined commitment of thousands of participants, volunteers and supporters who help the American Cancer Society save lives with cancer.

The totals are not all in yet, but this year’s event had the largest attendance and greatest financial support in its history, according to Pine Bush Equipment.
