Virginia-based Prillaman Crane & Rigging, Inc. joined the Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes team at Liebherr's Newport News headquarters to take delivery of its 11th Liebherr crane, the LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane.

Ordered at Conexpo 2026, the crane represents more than an investment in the company's growing fleet; it reflects the Prillaman family's enduring commitment to hard work, trust and service across three growing generations. The milestone celebrates a shared family legacy and the values that continue to guide the business into the future.

For approximately 20 years, Prillaman's Crane & Rigging, Inc. has provided crane rental, storage and heavy-haul services throughout Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. With customers including government facilities, military bases, shipyards, marinas and more, the Prillaman team relies on Liebherr cranes to deliver the lifting power required for demanding projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

“It's been a real privilege watching Prillaman's Crane and Rigging grow into the success it is today — and the new Liebherr LTM 1250 5.1, is a great fit for the work they do. Congratulations on the new machine, and we look forward to many more years of success and working together,” said Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager Beau Pocock, Liebherr USA, Co.

Power, Precision

Equipped with Liebherr's LICCON2 system, the Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane features enormous load capacities, designed to get the maximum lifting from the available weight of a 5-axle mobile crane. This resulted in the LTM 1250-5.1 becoming one of the most powerful cranes on five axles across the globe with a lifting capacity of 300 Ust (250 t).

Thanks to Liebherr VarioBallast, the crane delivers maximum lifting capacities with a large ballast radius, making it perfect for use on constricted sites and achieves ballast adjustments in just seconds. The crane can also be fitted with a multi-functional folding jib, a long lowering fixed jib or a rigid powerful jib.

Liebherr's proven VarioBase, ECOmode and ECOdrive technologies also make the LTM 1250-5.1 particularly safe and efficient.
