Purple Wave Auction announced that Tony Rosetta has joined the company as a territory sales manager for Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
Rosetta will be responsible for facilitating relationships with equipment owners and operators. He will work closely with customers to find the best fit for Purple Wave to support its equipment remarketing needs. His territory covers Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
Rosetta began his career in the equipment industry in 1987 as a truck driver of Graybar Electric. After holding several positions at Graybar, he transitioned to Reilly/Wesco and eventually returned to Graybar. Rosetta moved to law enforcement in 2001, spent several years as a correctional officer, obtained his peace officer's license and later served as a patrol officer in the Winnie-Chambers County area.
In 2014, Rosetta returned to equipment, with Shoppa's as a counter parts salesman, moving into the parts manager role. Most recently, he worked for Doggett Heavy Machinery, with John Deere construction as a parts manager.
"My role as territory sales manager is to connect with and help the people that I know, and find the next generation of customers in the industry," said Rosetta. "I would like customers to know that I am always available for questions and help with their business needs."
Purple Wave Auction is an online, no-reserve equipment auctions serving the agriculture, construction, government and fleet industries, providing customers with opportunities to buy and sell equipment with confidence, according to the company.
