Purple Wave Auction welcomed Austin Higbee as territory sales manager of northwest Indiana.

Purple Wave Auction is a leader in online, no-reserve equipment auctions serving the agriculture, construction, government and fleet industries, providing customers with opportunities to buy and sell equipment with confidence.

As a territory sales manager, Higbee will be responsible for facilitating relationships with equipment owners and operators. He will work closely with customers to determine the best fit for Purple Wave to support their equipment remarketing needs. Austin's territory covers northwest Indiana, including the Indiana cities of Lafayette, Plymouth, South Bend and the surrounding areas.

Prior to Purple Wave, Higbee worked at a Case construction dealership, starting in the service department and later transitioning into PSSR (parts, sales and service representative). From there, he moved into a rental role.

"I grew up working on older model ag equipment in my dad's repair shop," said Higbee. "I look forward to reengaging people in the community while showing them everything that Purple Wave has to offer."
