Construction equipment retailer RDO Equipment Co. said it was initiating a company-wide restructuring, starting with management.
The Fargo, ND-based company said it named Christi Offutt, senior vice president of the Midwest Agricultural Division, to the post of chief operating officer. Offutt replaces Gary Weihs, who will be leaving the company.
"We’re sizing the company for the ’post-truck’ era. Approximately $2 million of expenses will be removed as we continue to focus our operations on the customer," Offutt said in a written statement.
As previously announced, the company is aggressively pursuing buyers for its truck operations in Dallas, TX and Riverside, CA.
