Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. once again hosted a Permian Basin Unreserved Auction at 2923 Interstate 20 in Stanton (Midland), Texas, on Oct. 9. This auction featured a large quantity of aerial equipment, construction equipment, heavy trucks, oilfield support items, welders, generators and trailers. Yellow iron held steady as the vast majority of items were sold to end users working or headquartered in the Permian Basin. Truck values were a different story, with prices climbing towards to the sky for late model Peterbilt Truck Tractors, particularly those with Cummins power. Buyers came from 34 states and multiple foreign countries live onsite and bidding online via Proxibid or JMA Live, powered by NextLot.
