Yellow iron held steady at Jeff Martin’s Permian Basin Unreserved Auction on Oct. 9.
Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. once again hosted a Permian Basin Unreserved Auction at 2923 Interstate 20 in Stanton (Midland), Texas, on Oct. 9. This auction featured a large quantity of aerial equipment, construction equipment, heavy trucks, oilfield support items, welders, generators and trailers. Yellow iron held steady as the vast majority of items were sold to end users working or headquartered in the Permian Basin. Truck values were a different story, with prices climbing towards to the sky for late model Peterbilt Truck Tractors, particularly those with Cummins power. Buyers came from 34 states and multiple foreign countries live onsite and bidding online via Proxibid or JMA Live, powered by NextLot.
Patrick Valkenburg, territory manager, had this to say about the Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. difference: "With numerous auction facilities strategically located throughout the U.S., we have a unique ability to offer our customers assets to numerous markets outside of the oil and gas industry. We are the only auction company in the Permian Basin with this multi-market reach to offer our sellers a distinct advantage when selling their heavy equipment, trucks and related items."
