Ring Power recently named Brian Beatty Nexus undercarriage specialist.
The Nexus product line, which is comprised of parts and components for machines not manufactured by Caterpillar, stands ready to fill the undercarriage needs for a contractor’s entire fleet, regardless of the brand.
“Nexus is really all about providing the best possible product support,” Beatty said. “Many of our customers have mixed fleets, so it makes sense for us to be a one-stop shop for all their parts and service needs. Nexus products allow us to offer that convenience.”
The Nexus product line, which has been available from Cat for several years, encompasses engine parts, hydraulics, undercarriage components, air conditioning parts and supplies, filters and more. Each is available for a variety of other brands of equipment, including John Deere, Kobelco, Volvo and Komatsu. The line also includes parts for on-highway trucks and other vehicles. In addition to the experienced maintenance services of Ring Power technicians, Nexus parts are backed by Caterpillar with a limited warranty of one year or 1,500 hours.
“The bottom line is, offering parts and support for other brands of equipment benefits our customers,” Beatty said. “Nexus products provide a new source for quality parts, with all the convenience, availability and quick turnaround of the Cat Parts Network.”
Beatty’s role at Ring Power will be to grow, specifically, the Nexus undercarriage business. He handles all the stocking, pricing and quoting of Nexus parts for the company.
Beatty said the other Nexus divisions, such as filters or hydraulics, may be developed at a later date with additional personnel.
