Ring Power Holds Caterpillar Event in St. Augustine

More than 50 Construction Pros soaked up the sun in Florida, and got a chance to demo some iron.

- Southeast Edition

More than 50 construction professionals including contractors, operators and Cat industry representatives descended on Ring Power's corporate headquarters in St. Augustine, Fla., May 15 for the "Get In, Get Real," demo event.

The demo gave attendees the chance to get into the operator's seat. According to Tim Maguire of Ring Power, "The 'Get In, Get Real,' event provided a chance to introduce customers to Cat's new E-Series excavators and K-Series dozers and loaders. When Cat came out with the new E series excavators and K series loaders and dozers they upgraded them to Tier IV engines, and added other features.

The E Series excavators with Cat grade control, K Series wheel loaders, K2 Series track-type tractors, F Series backhoe loaders, M2 Series motorgraders, Cat's new line of material handlers and the Cat CT660 on-highway vocational truck were all featured during the demo event. Several pieces of used equipment also were on display.

In addition to operating equipment, those who attended were offered equipment maintenance and monitoring seminars. Three lucky attendees won free one-month equipment rentals.
