A terrific lineup of excavators were available to bidders during the auction.

Clinton Chitwood (L) and Ryan Moore, both of C&C Equipment, Nashville, Ind., test operate a Cat 303.5e mini-excavator.

Discussing some of the dozers of interest are Tony Burnette (L) and Ted Hunsaker, both of KECK Enterprises, Knoxville, Tenn.

Justin Smith (L) and Derek Farmer, both of Smith Auto Salvage, Chapmansboro, Tenn., check out a Cat 924G.

Inspecting the wheel loaders before they go on the auction block are Joe Finley (L) and Chris Adams, both of Twin States Utilities, Mt. Herman, Ky.

Barry (L) and Lance Pruitt, both of Pruitt Brothers Logging, Killen, Ala., look for some bargains on excavators, including this Komatsu PC160.

A regular local auction customer, Ricky Chumney (L) of Chumney & Associates, Murfreesboro, Tenn., receives a warm welcome to the sale by Ritchason Auctioneers’ Daniel Pruitt.

Ritchason Auctioneers Inc. held its annual spring sale at its headquarters facility in Lebanon, Tenn., on March 10. This auction included the complete sell out for Maple Hill Farms of Lebanon, Tenn., and a job completion sale of job-ready late-model equipment from Resource Management Company of Nashville, Tenn.

Company representatives said it's been a few years since they last had this many lots, and this kind of quality of machines. Three rings of auctioning for construction equipment, farming equipment, trucks/vehicles and miscellaneous items from approximately 170 consignors were sold to the highest bidder.
