Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers held a multi-million dollar auction June 7 in North East, Md.

In total, more than 1,900 bidders from 42 countries, including 49 U.S. states and nine Canadian provinces, registered to participate in the auction either onsite or online. Approximately 85 percent of the equipment was purchased by out-of-state buyers from as far away as United Arab Emirates, Chile, Lebanon, Nigeria and Singapore. More than 25 percent of the equipment was sold to online buyers.

The auction featured approximately 1,500 equipment items and trucks, including more than 35 hydraulic excavators, more than 35 crawler tractors, more than 30 loader backhoes, more than 20 wheel loaders, 20 skid steer loaders and more than 35 truck tractors.
