This Cat 928G was getting a close look from Chuck Spooner of Central Atlanta Tractor Sales Inc. in Austell, Ga. Roger Fisher, general manager of T-Quip of Florida, thought the loader prices were a little high for him. The virtual auction of some of the other equipment drew an enthusiastic crowd. Butch Gordon (L) of Gordon Construction in Minnesota and Jeff Boykin of Boykin Construction in Florida enjoyed renewing their friendship. This water truck’s mileage was a little high for Tom Brooks (L) and Jeff Munn of Southeast Hydro Seeding in Orlando, but there were quite a few others to look over. This John Deere 650G may be going to Indiana if the price is right for Scott Normington Jamie Wurthmann (L) of Kolortrax in Lakeland and Rob Traviesa, owner of Bayside Machinery Co. in St. Petersburg, spent a few minutes comparing notes on the equipment business. Ken Holbrook came down from Ocala, Fla., to take a look at some of the Cat 928G loaders. This 2006 Kawasaki 95Z went for $70,000. Marcus Shepard (L) and Alden Perkins of APEquip in Plant City, Fla., were bidding but always coming it at No. 2.

More than 2,100 registered bidders participated online and in-person at Ritchie Bros. two-day multi-million dollar public unreserved auction held May 25 and 26 in Orlando, Fla.

Bidders came from 59 countries, including 48 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces.
