Billy Castro, an experienced field machinist, has joined Road Machinery LLC to provide field machining services throughout Arizona. Castro is responsible for expanding this new service area for Road Machinery.
"We are happy to welcome Billy and his expertise to Road Machinery," said Dennis Romanson, president of Road Machinery. "He brings many years of experience in field machining, which is a valuable contribution to our service department."
Before joining Road Machinery, Castro worked as a field machinist for 27 years, including 22 years owning his own service company.
"Mainly, I work on pivot points. If they wear out, I re-weld and re-machine them to standard size. I usually work on construction and mining equipment, but can do just about anything. If someone wants to change their configuration, I can do that, too."
Castro has a fully equipped service truck for on-site services that include fabricating, machining, line boring and welding.
Road Machinery LLC has been selling and servicing heavy machinery since 1955. As the exclusive dealer for Komatsu in the Southwest, the company has eight locations throughout the area, in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, California and Mexico.
