Roland Machinery, LeeBoy Cross the Finish Line in Ill.

- Midwest Edition

Roland Machinery and LeeBoy treated more than 200 customers to a day at the ADRL Gateway Drags II event, Aug. 7 and 8. The race took place at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill.

Ray and Matt Roland and Bill Mitchell, general manager of St. Louis division, joined salesmen from both companies to help with the cookout, barbequeing brats.

Quain Stott rode the LeeBoy Equipment Pro Extreme Corvette in the drag race.

Roland Machinery’s party truck “The Tailgater” was parked right by the LeeBoy car so that attendees could visit with the driver and crew and watch them at work.

Additionally, kids were able to sit in the car.

“I wanted to make sure that I thanked the whole Roland team that helped with this year’s 2009 Drag Race,” said Bryce Davis, national sales manager, VT LeeBoy. “We had at least 200 customers come by on Saturday to drink and eat with us. It was good timing that Quain ended up having his best run when most of the customers were there eating and drinking with us. Timing is everything.”
