The auction featured a huge assortment of all types of agricultural equipment, construction equipment, off-road trucks and on-road trucks. Jason Lafosse (L) and Jordan Bean, Northampton, Mass., showed a lot of interest in this Caterpillar 924G. These contractors traveled all the way from Boston looking to bring home one of the several telehandlers available in the sale. This Teitsworth sale featured a large selection of equipment, including this great novelty piece — a Farmall Cub from the 1950s with a belly mower. Colby Frier (in cab) and Dan Schrader of Schrader Farms, Romulus, N.Y., inspect this Caterpillar 318V for potential use on the family farm. Between the large crowd drawn by the Teitsworth auction and the show attendees exiting Empire Farm Days, thousands of people attended the sale. Raiden LeVea of Fulton, N.Y., begged his grandfather to bring home this IH20C vintage dozer. However, his grandfather, Kent Hogeboom, sales representative of Construction Equipment Guide, insisted that his Chevy Impala couldn’t possibly handle pulli Local Amish and Mennonite farmers inspected landclearing equipment. Hours before the sale started interested buyers gave this LeeBoy double-drum asphalt roller a thorough inspection.

Roy Teitsworth Inc. held its annual Empire Farm Days Equipment and Truck Auction on Aug. 11 in Seneca Falls, N.Y.

An extremely large sale, the event is held adjacent to the Empire Farm Days Show during the last day of the show.

Empire Farm Days is among the nation’s oldest and largest continually operating agricultural outdoor shows. Tens of thousands of farmers — large and small — municipalities, landscape companies, or just interested folks gather at this event in Seneca Falls, N.Y. As the show comes to an end, Roy Teitsworth Inc. starts one of its largest sales of the year. The auction features a huge assortment of all types of agricultural equipment, construction equipment, off-road trucks and on-road trucks.
