Foley Inc., the Caterpillar dealer in North Jersey and Staten Island, recently announced the promotion of Ryan Foley to heavy construction sales manager.
Foley began his career at Foley Inc. in 1999 as customer support representative. In January 2002, he was promoted to business manager for Foley Express Hydraulics. During his time as business manager, Foley oversaw the re-engineering of the hydraulic shop, led the creation of a dedicated hose shop, and increased hydraulic parts and service revenue by 24 percent in two years.
In Foley’s new role as heavy construction sales manager, he will be responsible for all heavy construction transactions. In this capacity, he will oversee the heavy construction sales force and will meet extensively with customers to ensure that their needs are responded to quickly and effectively.
Foley also will be responsible for the expanded use of Siebel among the heavy construction sales force. Siebel is a customer relationship software system recently installed at Foley Inc., to accelerate communication flow across the dealership to ensure rapid response to all customer requests.
In his new position, Foley will report to Jeff Merle, general sales manager.
