Sales Auction Company hosted its annual spring auction in Windsor Locks, Conn., on May 3. The company’s sales continue to grow each year, with 788 lots from 171 different consignors at this year’s auction. The auction drew a crowd including 718 onsite bidders as well as 523 online bidders, and was its highest grossing sale to date.

The online service by Proxibid rang the bell as Sales Auction Company more than doubled its previous online sales. Every large excavator with only one exception was sold online.

A few sale highlights included:

• 2010 Finn BB302 bark blower sold for $28,500

• 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle sold for $19,500

• 2007 Kenworth T-800 triaxle dump truck sold for $90,000

• 2004 Volvo EW180B rubber-tire excavator sold for $74,000
