Sandvik Materials Technology, a world-leading developer and producer of advanced stainless steels and other high-performance materials, has secured the contract to be the sole provider of stainless steel umbilical tubes for the Leviathan gas field in the Mediterranean Sea, offshore Israel. The order was booked in the first quarter and the value is about 400 million SEK with deliveries scheduled for 2017.
