The Scheuerle highway trailer MES (modular extra strong) ties in with the success of former, non-modular models for this market and completes the Scheuerle highway trailer series. The Scheuerle highway trailer MES merges the requirements for transporting oversize as well as concentrated loads in one vehicle, thus enabling its owner to perform an unprecedented range of transport jobs with just one modular vehicle, according to the manufacturer.

“Our customers asked for a multifunctional, extra-sturdy but low weight modular solution and we developed it,” said Roland Fischer, area manager sales of TII Sales. “The Scheuerle highway trailer MES allows a configuration as a semi-trailer for all kinds of everyday’s loads as well as an assembly with two platform trailers for an extremely long load like a splitter column, vessels or a large girder weighing up to 115 tons.”

This solution, offered solely by the TII Group, enables transportation businesses to extend their range of transportation if needed while, at the same time, using the Scheuerle highway trailer MES in a semi-trailer version for “everyday jobs.” This setup can reduce the fleet costs while opening possibilities to accept new jobs with extra long or very concentrated loads, according to the manufacturer.

”Hydraulic axles, precise steering also in reverse and lift/lower function to pick up loads are characteristics our customers don`t want to miss anymore. The Scheuerle highway trailer MES conjoins all of them and complements them by a modular reinforced construction concept saving money and opening new business possibilities for our customers” said Fischer.
