Skanska USA Building Inc. volunteered at two separate Pennsylvania Habitat for Humanity construction project sites.

The first group of volunteers comprised of Skanska office and field personnel, continued the renovation work on a duplex in Pottstown, Pa., where Skanska first volunteered in November 2007.

The second group helped build a new town home in Upper Dublin, Pa., working alongside the future homeowner.

Habitat for Humanity established a Montgomery County, Pa., chapter in 1989 and have since built and renovated 37 homes for deserving families. Skanska’s Philadelphia office began volunteer work with the Montgomery Chapter in 2007.

The Habitat for Humanity Outreach Program is led by Rick Taylor, director of project accounting and Susan Martin, estimating technical assistant, both of Skanska’s Philadelphia office.
