Throughout Star Equipment’s 47 years in business, the company has received numerous awards and recognitions. This year was no different as Star has recently accepted the Husqvarna’s Million Dollar Club Award.

“This award wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the people that we employ,” said Bruce Bowman, president.

“They are well-versed with all our products, which helps transition into providing exceptional customer service.”

Star has been a dealer of Husqvarna’s construction products since the early 1970’s, offering products under the name of Target, Partner, Cushion Cut and Soff-Cut (all of which are now under the Husqvarna umbrella of companies), shows Star Equipment has quite a history with Husqvarna. Star looks forward to its continued partnership with Husqvarna to provide Iowa contractors with all their concrete saw and blade essentials and exceptional services.

Star Equipment was founded in 1968 by Max Bowman, his wife Beverly, and a longtime friend, in Des Moines, Iowa. Star has since evolved into a four-location company offering a strong, diverse product line of light to general construction equipment, a knowledgeable staff of more than 70 men and women providing top-quality service, and innovative technology to stay ahead of the ever changing construction industry.
