Superior Industries Inc. recently displayed a solution for controlling material spillage in conveyor load and transfer zones. Known as the sealing system, these simple cartridges install into existing idler frames and help to create a tight seal between the belting and hopper skirting. Superior said material spillage is the number one cause of conveyor maintenance.

Superior’s sealing systems are manufactured for belt widths of 24 to 72-in. (61 to 183 cm). Installed to existing idler frames, the cartridges come in 5 or 10-in. (12.7 or 25.4 cm) widths.
