Construction Equipment Guide

The Takeuchi Manufacturing TL150 rubber track loader is the largest of the manufacturer’s compact track loader lineup with an operating weight of 10,692 lbs. (4,850 kg) and a 101.5 hp (75.8 kW) turbo-charged Yanmar diesel engine.

With a tipping load of 7,056 lbs. (3,200 kg), bucket breakout force of 8,692 lbs. (38.5 kN) and a traction force of 13,066 lbs. (58 kN) the TL150 has the power needed to handle tough excavating and lifting jobs. The 18-in. (45 cm) wide rubber tracks provide a ground pressure of 4.3 psi (29.7 kpa), allowing the unit to work in soft ground conditions. The standard rubber tracks also allow the TL150 to work on improved surfaces with little or no damage.

The TL150 is equipped with an electro-hydraulic, two-speed travel system that propels the machine to a speed of 5 mph (8.1 kmh) in low speed and 6.9 mph (11.1 kmh) in high speed. According to the manufacturer, the TLl50s planetary final drives are an effective and reliable means of horsepower transfer. The drives are elevated to reduce the wear and abuse associated with an in-line drive system.

Operator comfort has been enhanced with a spacious operators compartment featuring a padded secondary restraint with built-in armrests, pilot operated joystick controls, eight-way adjustable suspension seat and an optional enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning. The standard auxiliary hydraulics are controlled by a proportional foot pedal or electro-hydraulic push buttons located in the joysticks.

Serviceability has been designed with the owner in mind. Quick and easy access to the engine and hydraulic system is accomplished with the tilt-back operators compartment and fully opening engine compartment with swing out radiator. The TL150 comes standard with an emergency engine shutdown system, which will shut the engine down in case of high engine coolant temperature or low engine oil pressure. An audible and visual alert system is located within easy view of the operator to notify him of any abnormal machine conditions.
