Takeuchi-US has announced Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Inc. as the latest addition to their rapidly expanding dealer network in North America. WPI will carry the full Takeuchi line of compact earthmoving equipment throughout their locations in Texas.

With humble beginnings during the Texas oilfield boom in 1924, Louis M. Pearce, Sr. founded the Portable Rotary Rig Company, the forerunner of the enterprise that is known today as Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Inc. Officially founded in 1967 by merging Waukesha Sales & Service and Pearce Equipment Company, WPI has specialized in the sales and service of earth moving, recycling, gas compression, power generation, small engine, lawn and mining equipment for almost 90 years.

“WPI has built a legacy through nearly a century of hard work and dedication to the changing needs of their customers,” said John Vranches, Takeuchi National Sales Manager. “We are happy that they have chosen to add the Takeuchi line of earthmoving equipment to their product offering, and wish them continued success.”

Takeuchi is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of an extensive line of compact track loaders, compact excavators, compact wheel loaders and skid steer loaders. Founded in 1963, Takeuchi was the first company to introduce the compact excavator to North America.
