Technology Solutions Company (TSC), a systems integrator focused on helping organizations achieve operational excellence and extend their enterprises, has announced the completion of eLearning projects for Caterpillar and Cypress Semiconductor. TSC’s eLearning integration services group is part of the company’s Change and Learning Technologies practice. In addition to the eLearning project successes, TSC announced the formation of a partnership to provide services for KnowledgePlanet, provider of enterprise human capital management software.
The KnowledgePlanet partnership comes as TSC completes eLearning assessment projects for Caterpillar’s Engine Products Division, a division of the manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines, and Cypress Semiconductor, a provider of high-performance integrated circuit solutions to fast-growing markets. TSC’s eLearning assessments address the technological, cultural, and financial implications of adopting eLearning.
As part of the eLearning assessments, TSC conducted a series of interviews with company information systems groups, as well as company visionaries, trainers and users. From the information gained during those interviews, TSC provided comprehensive, ROI-driven recommendations and an implementation roadmap.
"As a large organization, we needed to find the best way to leverage eLearning to make our people more effective," said Darryl Carson, director, Cypress University. "TSC’s assessment approach provided us with the type of recommendations we felt best suited our needs. The company’s ability to specifically isolate our greatest needs was superior to the other providers we researched. That’s why we ultimately chose to go with TSC for eLearning expertise."
According to Bryon Niekamp, senior vice president, Change and Learning Technologies, TSC: "We developed the eLearning assessment offering as a way to provide our clients with a custom eLearning strategy. By working with us, clients such as Caterpillar and Cypress can gain clear visibility into how an eLearning program will work in their environment. Having that advance knowledge makes it much easier for a company to move forward with confidence in their eLearning decisions."
