Terex Environmental Equipment has launched a stump grinder product line. The first product to be launched will be the walk behind TSG 511 SW.

"We are delighted to be able to offer a series of stump cutters to arborist and forestry customers. We will be gradually introducing a range of walk behind, wheeled and tracked stump cutters into the market over the next six months. This is an exciting time for TEE as we expand our product portfolio to offer a full range of forestry and arborist products. This will give TEE a broad product portfolio and strongly positions us in the market place against the competition," said Philippa Fisher, business development and marketing director.

The TSG 511 SW is a new light weight walk behind stump grinder ideal for small gardens and making narrow sites accessible. Its 25 in. (63.5 cm) width allows it to maneuver and seek out hard-to-reach stumps with easy entry through standard backyard gates.

It features a pivot-action base allowing the user to keep the wheel base stationary while using a smooth back-and-forth gliding motion to easily grind stumps. Its braked chassis supports machine stability. Automatic locking of the top section and simple machine control make this a simple yet durable machine to operate, according to the manufacturer.

This unit is designed with a cutting height of 21 in. (53 cm) and a cutting depth of 9 in. (22.8 cm). Removal of unlimited stump diameters allows for complete removal of the stump.

The TSG 511 SW has an operating length of 70 in. (178 cm), width of 25 in. and is supplied with Honda GX 390 engine with 11.7 hp. It is offered with eight Greenteeth and forms a robust cutting system for any user.
