Terex Construction Americas appoints Jamie Wright as the new regional sales manager in the northwestern U.S. region for Terex Fuchs material handling equipment. In this role, Wright will have sales and distributor development responsibilities for the expansive line of Terex Fuchs purpose-built material handlers for the scrap, recycling, forestry and port markets in a territory that includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Wright has nearly 20 years of industry experience, including time as a compact equipment product specialist for Terex Construction.

“This is part of our recently announced strategic initiative to expand our sales force for Terex Fuchs equipment and improve customer interaction and support throughout the scrap, port, recycling and logging markets,” said Martin Gonzalez, director of sales, Terex Construction Americas. “Jamie has a strong background in sales, distributor development and product management. He will be able to help support customers in this territory to make sure they have the most productive material handling equipment for the application.”

Wright began his industry career in the mid-1990s, working for a heavy equipment distributor. He then moved into a regional sales position for a compact loading and excavation equipment manufacturer. There he developed and expanded distributor representation throughout his territory, giving customers local sales and service support for the equipment. In 2010, he began his career with Terex Construction Americas as a product specialist for the compact construction equipment line, where he maintained, presented and developed product training for the compact equipment market.

“I pride myself on being a knowledge expert on the equipment I represent, which will allow me to partner with and help make distributors and customers in this region more successful with their material handling equipment,” said Wright. “The Terex Fuchs material handler line has an unmatched 125-year legacy in the industry. The models are purpose-built for the scrap, recycling, timber and port markets and help customers to improve productivity and efficiency at the worksite.”

Wright will be based out of Terex Construction Americas’ Grand Rapids, Minn., manufacturing facility. He can be reached at 218/244-1983 or [email protected].
