During the recent Schaeff Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas, NV, Udo Boersch, vice president of sales and marketing, presented Skid Loaders Plus of Austin, TX, with a Top Dealer Sales Award for 2000.
Perry Carson, president of Skid Steer Loaders Plus started the company in 1995 and now has 10 employees. “We specialize in the construction, landscape and recycling markets in the Austin area and only recently became a Schaeff dealer,” said Carson. “Carrying the line has enabled us to offer our customers a wide range of equipment to fulfill their requirements.”
The Schaeff line is relatively new to the United States — originally introduced in late 1997, but with dealers such as Skid Loaders Plus, the acceptance of this German-engineered product continues to grow.
Schaeff of North America manufacturers a line of compact wheel loaders and mini excavators, a walking excavator, a loader/excavator and the new SCL 515 compact wheel loader. Sales and service functions are carried out at the Dallas location, the product is made in Germany by Karl Schaeff and Company.
