Thompson Auctioneers Holds Sale for Mainline Road & Bridge Contsruction

Thompson Auctioneers conducted an auction Jan. 25 for Mainline Road & Bridge Construction at its facility in Beavercreek, Ohio. Up for bid were excavators, backhoes and an assortment of other equipment used by the operation. Highlights of the sale included Cat 420D backhoe, 4 x 4, with extend-a-boom that went for $23,500 and a Cat 426B backhoe sold for $13,500.

The auction drew bidders predominantly from Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. The auction drew a good size crowd of enthusiastic bidders. Based in Fairborn, Ohio, Thompson Auctioneers was started by Company President, Steve Thompson, in 1982 out of his garage.
