Thompson Tractor Company held a used equipment sale event at the company’s used equipment sales center in Montgomery, Ala., on April 30. Approximately 250 guests attended the event and were treated to a catered lunch. Divisions of Thompson Tractor Company promoted products and services. Caterpillar and Caterpillar Financial representatives attended to lend their support with product info and on the spot financing. The Ryan Newman, # 31 Cat Chevrolet SS NASCAR Sprint Cup car was on display for racing enthusiasts.

Several machines were brought in from other Thompson locations, which made for a great variety of machines to choose from. From compressors and welders, to boom lifts and forestry machines, articulated trucks and hydraulic excavators, there was something for every buyer. Machines were all discounted with red tag one-day only sale prices. There were a total of 11 machine sales and many attachment sales made during the event. The event was so successful that company representatives are considering making this a regular annual event.
