Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) recently named Mark Jones as construction sales manager of the Northeast region.

Prior to joining TPS in 2004 as a machine control specialist for the technical support group, Jones worked for a Topcon distributor in Western Canada where he gained field experience working with private and government road building contractors. At TPS, Jones was promoted to construction technical sales specialist before moving to his new position as regional sales manager.

Brian Juroff, director of sales of Topcon’s Construction Business Unit, said, “Mark has proven himself to be a true contributor to Topcon’s construction team, first on the technical side of machine control and now in sales. His technical background, combined with his experience working on the distributor side of the business, gives him the knowledge and know-how to best help strengthen the business of our dealers and productivity of customers.”

Jones said, “Having spent the time that I did working on Topcon’s technical team, working day-in and day-out with products and new technology, I’m proud of what Topcon has to offer the construction industry and glad to be in a position to help get the technology into the hands of more contractors.”
