Tracey Road Equipment celebrated a major milestone during its annual open house at the company's headquarters in East Syracuse, N.Y.

This year's gathering took on special significance as the dealership marked 50 years in business, bringing together construction contractors, trucking professionals, municipal officials, manufacturer representatives and longtime customers to celebrate the occasion.

Founded in 1976 by Jerry Tracey, the company has grown from a small Syracuse operation into one of the Northeast's leading distributors of construction equipment, heavy-duty trucks, trailers and municipal equipment.

With locations throughout New York and Pennsylvania, Tracey Road has built its reputation on providing customers with quality equipment backed by extensive parts, service and product support.

The anniversary celebration offered an opportunity to recognize the company's growth and to thank the customers, employees and manufacturers who have contributed to its success.

As in previous years, the open house placed a strong emphasis on the broad range of products and services offered by the dealership. Tracey Road represents numerous leading construction equipment manufacturers, including Liebherr, Hitachi (rebranding to LANDCROS in April 2027), Hyundai, KOBELCO, New Holland, SAKAI, Astec and Morbark, among others.

The company's product offerings serve a wide variety of applications, from major earthmoving, roadbuilding and site development projects to aggregate production (through the company's aggregate division), landscaping and municipal maintenance.

An equally important part of Tracey Road's business is its extensive truck division, particularly its Freightliner and Western Star lineups, serving the transportation needs of over-the-road trucking companies, construction contractors and municipalities.

From highway tractors used by long-haul trucking fleets to vocational trucks designed for construction, hauling, snow removal and public works applications, Tracey Road provides truck solutions for a wide range of customers.

The open house also provided an opportunity for customers to interact with Tracey Road's sales and product support personnel, as well as representatives of the manufacturers whose products the company distributes. For many attendees, the annual gathering has become an opportunity to reconnect with industry friends, discuss equipment needs and learn more about the latest developments in construction equipment and commercial trucking.

Throughout its 50-year history, Tracey Road Equipment has continued to invest in its facilities, employees and service capabilities to meet the changing needs of its customers. From construction equipment sales and rentals to commercial truck sales, parts, maintenance and repairs, the company has developed into a full-service resource for contractors, fleet operators and municipalities throughout the region.

This year's anniversary celebration was a recognition of five decades of growth, customer relationships and commitment to the construction and trucking industries. With its annual open house continuing to bring customers and manufacturers together, Tracey Road Equipment used the occasion to celebrate its past while looking ahead to the opportunities of the next 50 years.
