Tractor & Equipment Company (TEC) moved into a 22,000 sq. ft. branch facility in Pooler, Ga., near Savannah Nov. 19.
Located at 1200 Highway 80 near Interstate 95, the facility features a 10-bay shop with a track press, a welding/fabrication shop, two five-ton overhead cranes and a centralized grease, oil and evac system.
The facility’s parts area is considerably larger than the previous location, which Branch Manager Autrey McMillan said will help reduce down time for TEC’s customers since “it allows us to stock many more components and more parts.”
The parts area includes a hydraulic hose fabrication area.
The location is staffed by more than 20 employees and has a fleet of five field service trucks, with more to come in 2008.
The branch offers the complete line of Komatsu products, as well as Gradall and Sennebogen equipment and compaction and paving equipment from Ingersoll Rand.
