Tractor & Equipment Company (TEC) has been named the number one North American dealer for Blaw-Knox paving equipment, the manufacturer announced. This is the third time the company has earned this prestigious award.

TEC, which represents Blaw-Knox asphalt paving equipment in Georgia, was recognized for its superior sales, service, product support and parts availability. The award was announced Jan. 10 during the annual Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) meeting in Chicago. Jim Waitzman Jr., TEC CEO, Dan Stracener, president and Steve McCondichie, VP/sales manager — Georgia accepted the award on TEC’s behalf.

“We are delighted with this award because it recognizes the total dedication to customer support that is the hallmark of Tractor & Equipment Company,” said Waitzman. “We have a team of professionals throughout our organization committed to the success of our paving customers, and this honor truly underscores that commitment.”

To ensure that the company maintains a high level of customer support, TEC recently opened new branch facilities in both Calhoun and Savannah, while the firm’s seven other Georgia branches also have recently undergone extensive upgrades to meet the needs of customers.

Celebrating its 65th year in business, Tractor & Equipment Company has a total of 21 locations, including ten branches in Alabama, nine in Georgia and two in Florida. In Georgia, TEC has three branches serving Metro Atlanta in Kennesaw, Hoschton and Forest Park, with additional branches in Calhoun, Macon, Columbus, Albany, Augusta and Savannah.
