The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Minnesota Turf and Grounds Foundation (MTGF) held the Northern Green Expo Jan. 4 to 6 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The event, which gets a great deal of help from “Platinum Supporter” Ziegler CAT, continues to draw more than 7,000 attendees each year.

According to MNLA Executive Director Bob Fitch, trade show traffic was the strongest it has been in several years and nearly every education session was standing room only.

“While we all know that the economy has a lot of recovery yet to come, there definitely was an uptick in attitude among contractors based upon improved business in 2011 and anticipated growth in 2012,” Fitch said.

The next Northern Green Expo is scheduled for Jan. 9 to 11, 2013, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Exhibit information is available at www.NorthernGreenExpo.org.
