U Rent It Sales & Service based in Terrell, Texas hosted a demo day to showcase Chicago Pneumatic’s newest product offerings on Oct. 18. End users were encouraged to try out Chicago Pneumatic’s full line of construction equipment in a practical setting.

On display at the demo day was the entire Chicago Pneumatic product offering, including CP’s brand new compaction rollers, the newly introduced CP 1260 and 1290 handheld breakers, and the emissions-compliant CPS 400 it4 portable air compressor.

“It’s extremely important to get the equipment in the hands of end-users to help them make their purchasing decisions,” said Paul McClendon, regional sales manager of Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment. “Additionally, it gives them an opportunity to ask questions and get feedback right there on the spot.”

In spite of heavy rain leading up to the event and a wet demonstration area, dozens of end-users travelled to U Rent It for the event. Attendees were made up of private contractors, public works employees from municipalities across the region, and other equipment dealers from around the area as well.

“A lot of folks only know Chicago Pneumatic for our handheld tools,” said McClendon. “To get in front of a lot of different people and show off our portable energy line, rig-mounted breaker line, and compaction line, that aren’t as well known as the handheld line is extremely important initiative for all of us at Chicago Pneumatic.”

The event was held in an open house style format from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offered hands-on training, networking opportunities, lunch, and opportunities for Q&A session with representatives from both U Rent It and Chicago Pneumatic.
