Associated Equipment Distributors (AED), 2018 Ottawa Briefing. Dates: February 28, 2018 (8:00 AM) to March 1, 2018 (6:00 PM). Event Description: AED's annual Ottawa Briefing has become a major event for equipment industry leaders wanting to learn more about how government programs affect equipment demand and dealer costs of doing business. The meeting is also an opportunity to build relationships with government officials and influence federal policy. February 28, 2018: Parliamentary Reception: This year the annual reception will take place in the Parliamentary Dining Room on Parliament Hill. Members of Parliament (MP), industry leaders and key officials will be invited to join us for cocktails. This is an important event as it shows the MPs the face of the equipment industry and fosters engaging conversations and relationship. Please note: Dress code for the Parliamentary Dining Room includes a tie and jacket. March 1, 2018: Panel Discussions. AED has invited a broad array of senior industry, political and bureaucratic officials to discuss issues facing our Canadian members.
